Truth is, you probably wouldn’t recognize my 16- year-old, (my middle child) if you had met him a year ago.
Last September, he had to start attending a new high school. He came to me for advice on how to lose the extra weight he was carrying around. I dug out the 2 week meal plan that comes with this Two Weeks to a Two Piece program and we put it on the fridge. He and I started eating exactly as it said.

Workout 1 – All-Over Muscle Toning
The first workout in the Two Weeks to a Two Piece Program is all about building strong, supple muscles throughout your entire body (in under 30 minutes per day) EVEN IF you are new to working out. I’m a scientist at heart and I have studied exactly which exercises produce the leanest muscles, and I’ve included them ALL in this video. There is a foam roller cool-down at the end will minimize soreness. What you’ll need: a mat or soft surface and a water bottle. Optional items: We use an exercise ball and a foam roller, but you can make due with just four paper plates!!!
Workout 2 – HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)
HIIT is about alternating periods of short, intense exercise with less intense recovery periods. This format will give you the same, if not greater, results in HALF the time of other workouts (less than 30 minutes, to be exact). And most of it is just going to feel like dancing around your living room. Click here to learn more about how HIIT produces better results in less time. Be prepared to sweat, and also to have fun! We use a kettlebell in this workout, but any weight (or even a jug of water) can be made to work (if you keep a tight grip). All you really need is a good pair of shoes and water. 💦

I think the meal plan is the best part of the whole package. In fact, I think it’s the best meal plan you will find ANYWHERE. I freaking love this meal plan and it is a crucial component of the two weeks to a two piece program.
